Thanks, Marc.

It's your book that inspired my own memoir.

(Also a WIP. at 30,000 words, so far.)

Thank you so much.

I am still shocked at how quickly it has grown.

I know I will need to do some heavy editing, but it's impressive nonetheless.

I'm glad to read you gave it a second go and how the trip to Scotland open the doors to discovering the story you actually want to write. I think it's quite common, we set out to write one thing, but then another story comes along. Thank you for sharing this journey with us! Keep it going!

When the words start to tumble out of you, that's a good sign! Glad you're onto it! Will you go indie publishing on it? or submit once done? Good luck on all!

Thank you so much.

I think for the first one, Amazon it is. I'll see how the response is with writing style, genre, reviews, etc. I'll be writing under a pen name as well. If successful, I may consider other publishing options for future novels.

I'm also working on a travel memoir, but that is a little different.

I’ve used Amazon for 3 of my books and their KDP program is comprehensive and good also for selling and distribution. If you need any hand holding or have ??s, I’m an old hand at it by this time.
