What an experience, Laura! I love that you finally got to the point where you just burst put laughing --and with a soundtrack (Tusk)! What an ordeal, and then in all that rain. I didn't know Oz had parrots. I forget how tropical it is. And it's amazing it's still raining there. Fires a year or two ago, now floods. Ayyyy. Well, you certainly had a trip to remember! Thank you so much. It really was a fantastic trip despite the challenges. Next year is the 40th anniversary of how we all met, so they want me to return to Brisbane. A duplicate camping trip is planned, hopefully with better weather!
