The Nordeste region of Sao Miguel is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and it has some of the most spectacular views you can imagine.
We visited Sao Miguel a few years ago and explored a lot of the island. We walked down to Farol do Arnel and enjoyed watching the local “professionals” drive down the street. Holy incline! 🤯
Yes, there were some areas that were quite challenging! The one-way streets and parking was also a challenge occasionally.
But worth it ☺️
